Brian Jay and the Last Call Boys are a drum-less trio true to the style of early Sun Records recording artists like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and the Johnny Burnette Trio. Their sound is a blend of good old Down-Home Rockabilly and Texas Honky-Tonk.

Brian Jay is a singer / songwriter who has been writing and performing Rockabilly music since the early 80s. His songs often tell the stories of his life. Brian wrote “Eight Beers Too Many” for example, about the night his “first wife kicked him out," as he likes to tell audiences. Many of the songs are tongue in cheek commentaries on love or love lost, or Brian’s other favorite subject; hot rods.

The Last Call Boys consist of Kevin Stewart on upright bass and Victor Rojas on lead guitar.

Kevin is an accomplished bass player who has played professionally for many years. With his skilled “slapping” accompanied by Brian’s acoustic guitar rhythms, there’s no need for drums. In fact, a famous blues guitar player once commented to the boys after a show that he was outside listening and was surprised to come into the club and see that the band had no drummer!

Victor Rojas is an accomplished musician as well. He has a good 20 years of playing live under his belt. Victor likes his guitar sound clean and authentic and often changes guitars mid-set just so he can get the perfect sound he’s looking for.  Victor is quite a singer / songwriter in his own right and also fronts a band called 3 Deuces!
